THE COMIC BOOK ELEMENTS OF AVATAR AND KORRA - San Diego Comic Con Panel
Hey Korra Nation! Today was the @darkhorsecomics Avatar and Korra Comic Con panel and it was amazing! Avatar fans packed the room to see Korra comic artist Irene Koh, creator @michaeldantedimartino and Korra voice actor Janet Varney discuss the upcoming Korra comic book, Turf Wars: Part One, and talk about their love of the series. Did you know that Turf Wars picks up immediately after the end of the TV series?
Check out some of the comic frames they showed during the panel, the illustrations are beautiful! You can preorder Turf Wars: Part One right now, or buy in comic shops on July 26 and bookstores Aug 8.
Fun fact: Michael used the voice actors as inspiration for writing Turf Wars, asking himself questions like “How would Janet say this?”
We also got to take a look at the Korra coloring book. Each page is filled with never-before-seen illustrations that let you fill the avatar world with color!
